On the release of the latest version of Contract Insight – Version 17.3.1 – our contract management software now comes with dashboard launch pads, which take the apps and taskbars to the next level, offering a much-improved user experience.

Contract Insight is a robust system with configurable functionality to help users navigate quickly and easily, while they gain insights into key contract data right from their system dashboard.

How to use the new launch pads

Contract Insight’s dashboard launch pads offer:

  • Pin action buttons

Users can pin frequently visited areas of the system on each launch pad, creating search shortcuts on their dashboard. This saves time searching the system for areas you frequently visit or want to easily navigate to.

Users can display summarised numerical data such as Contracts up for Renewal, High Risk Contracts or Average Request Amount. This option helps system users identify when to take action on certain contracts, and it keeps them informed about stored data.

  • Links inside and outside the system

When working with suppliers, you might want to link to a portal or a company website with easy to access guidelines. This feature helps you link to an industry-specific website or to the ‘View All Contracts’ page within your system.

  • Customising the launch pads

The top row of the launch pads contains links to internal and external sites and resources.  The bottom row displays key data based on contracts stored within the system.  As a user, you can choose how to customise your tiles, just as you do with apps on your smartphone, tablet, or desktop. You can customise launchpad colours to reflect your own branding or personal preferences.  For example, a red tile may represent high-risk contracts and blue may represent contracts in good standing.  It’s completely up to you how you want your launch pad display to look.

  • Icons can be added to system shortcuts and external links

You can choose to use your own icons or use icons in the image library.
